Aiken, S.C.-The Livingstone men’s basketball team fell to USC Aiken with a final score of 86-69.

Leading the way for Livingstone was King Ijeoma, who contributed 11 points with a solid 5-8 shooting effort. James Nipper added 9 points, grabbing 6 rebounds, and dishing out 3 assists. Ta’jae Jenkinsalso chipped in with 8 points, including a perfect 1-1 from beyond the arc.

Paul Tako tallied 5 points and pulled down 5 rebounds. His brother Sila Tako added 8 points, while Chandler Collins-Johnson made an impact off the bench with 11 points, going 3-3 from the field.

On the defensive end, Donovan Leak contributed 6 points and 4 assists, while Chance Jamison added 2 points and a couple of rebounds in limited minutes.

The Blue Bears will aim to bounce back from this tough loss tomorrow evening in an exhibition matchup against UNC Charlotte at 7 p.m.
